An oldie back - good & pregnant!

I posted here throughout my pregnancy with DD#1 (Gaby), back in 2006, but left when she was a little tot... I'm back now though, and am very excited to be pregnant with #2 - another little princess, who I have decided to name Emersyn Georgia-May... she's due June 23, but will come 1-2 weeks earlier, via elective repeat c/s.

My pregnancy has been a bit more stressful than it was with Gaby, I had an epileptic seizure at 16w (after being seizure free for years), so was put back on anti-epileptic medication & because of that my pregnancy is considered high risk... I've also had random episodes of bleeding (the last at 20w), so am seeing the high risk ob about that as well.... I am getting a tubal ligation when I have Emersyn, so it's definately making for a memorable last pregnancy!!!!

Emersyn's father & I broke up just before I was 12 weeks pregnant.. I did it alone with Gaby, so I guess I know I can do it... he is still going to be in her life, but as of now, lives hours away, so I'm not sure how involved he will actually be...

    Anyway, nice to be back

Hi there. Congratulations on your pregnancy! Wow how scary for you to have your epiliepsy rear its head back up. My older sister has epilepsy and hasn't had a seizure for nearly 15 years. Its a scary thing to witness and i can't imagine it would be very much fun for the person who its happening to. Sounds like you have had a rough pregnancy throughout. I hope you can make it to full term without any more troubles.

    thank you all

my epilepsy is 'nocturnal epilepsy', meaning i only ever have seizures in my sleep - the doctor said it is probably the best type of epilepsy to have, because there isn't really a chance of me falling & hurting myself etc. Still, it's not pleasant!
