oh bum. great news on no gall stones though. weirdo
what a pain about the gender! i would have thought a radiographer would be qualified, but really, i have no idea.
hope you can find out either way, or get ready for your girl to have a winkie

I wouldn't trust either. What pain in the bums they are!

Seriously what's up with 50%?!?!? Hell I could give you a random guess just now and I have 50% chance of getting it right!

Far out! I could make a guess o n the gender and have a 50% chance of it being right What sort of stupid comment is that? If it was a 50% chance then they should have said that they cannot predict either way.

Maybe it is a boy after all.....

(but yay on no gallstones, although now we are still in the dark about what the hell is wrong!)

I think after a night of sleeping on it, i'm just going with that it's a girl. DH wants to discuss boys names but I don't because I've already been through the disappointment of being sure it was going to be a boy because that's what we swayed for and then finding out it's a girl. All the stuff is unisex anyway so at least it's not like I have got lots of pink lol

Yay for no gall stones! Wonder whats giving you all that grief then?

I agree, just go with what you "know". I specifically didn't find out at the 20wk scan coz I didn't want to spend the next 20 weeks disappointed. It's hard to be disappointed when a gorgeous little newborn is thrust from 'there' to your boob

    Best of luck xx

I wouldn't have been happy with the 50% at your morphology scan to be honest. My sonographer wouldn't tell me either way until she actually managed to see the 3 lines. No clear penis wasn't enough at 20 weeks. Took her ages, but we got there.
I am not sure what traits of both genders means???? By now the penis should be pretty obvious, how can you think it is a boy without seeing a penis? And if he couldn't see a penis or vulva then he should have said he couldn't tell? Unfortunately they don't put that stuff on the report either.

Would you be disappointed with a boy now?

WOW id say you have 4-5 weeks to prepare for a suprise!
id be going to the doctor and telling them you need a referal foer one as the stress of not knowing is getting to much.
but lucky you were anti pink with the clothes and everything just in case! not long till you can see for yourself.

    Argh bloody scans.

Oh you poor thing it sux doesnt it??
We were told at 20 wks that DD was a girl by two different scans and then at 35 weeks that "hmmmm nope theres something there more likely to be a boy!!"

We went for a 3D scan and turns out it was her hand down there that he saw but it still was enough to put that doubt in my head and confuse me.

Your 20 wk scan doesnt seem that conclusive though but if you have already prepared for another little lady then I would stick with it.
Although in saying that the beautiful ladies at the 3D clinic were so wonderful and said that it was "hugely" obvious at that late stage if it is a little boy.

    Good luck

Yay for no gall stones !

Imagine if bub did come out with a penis Your wish would come true !

But having said that... lets not get ahead of ourselves here and prepare for a girl and anything else is a bonus !

I still have all my bits crossed for you
Or I could get pregnant and we could swap babies cause I have the boys and you have the girls.... oh wait - that would be illegal but we would be happy....

I would go and get someone to tell you once and for all. If he was doing an abdo ultrasound for gallbladder issues it's quite possible he is not experienced in obstetric ultrasound.

Crap crap crap.. how damn annoying babe!!!

With the "both traits"... I am guessing he seen what could be a swollen labia and clitoris, or small penis and testicles....so could be either/or.

But at 30 wks you would assume either would be more obvious... a boy by that stage should be clearly a boy.. girls are harder to determine.

My 20 scan of this bubba very cleary had a floaty penis and testicle sacks, next to the cord, so we know it wasnt that!!

If I were in your shoes, I would call my middie, in tears of course and very stressed, and letting her know only a proper scan will ease your pain.... but thats me and I dont mind being a little sneaky to get a scan.....
