I think after a night of sleeping on it, i'm just going with that it's a girl. DH wants to discuss boys names but I don't because I've already been through the disappointment of being sure it was going to be a boy because that's what we swayed for and then finding out it's a girl. All the stuff is unisex anyway so at least it's not like I have got lots of pink lol
Yay for no gall stones! Wonder whats giving you all that grief then?
I agree, just go with what you "know". I specifically didn't find out at the 20wk scan coz I didn't want to spend the next 20 weeks disappointed. It's hard to be disappointed when a gorgeous little newborn is thrust from 'there' to your boob
I wouldn't have been happy with the 50% at your morphology scan to be honest. My sonographer wouldn't tell me either way until she actually managed to see the 3 lines. No clear penis wasn't enough at 20 weeks. Took her ages, but we got there.
I am not sure what traits of both genders means???? By now the penis should be pretty obvious, how can you think it is a boy without seeing a penis? And if he couldn't see a penis or vulva then he should have said he couldn't tell? Unfortunately they don't put that stuff on the report either.
WOW id say you have 4-5 weeks to prepare for a suprise!
id be going to the doctor and telling them you need a referal foer one as the stress of not knowing is getting to much.
but lucky you were anti pink with the clothes and everything just in case! not long till you can see for yourself.
big what compleate knobs, both of them!
Oh you poor thing it sux doesnt it??
We were told at 20 wks that DD was a girl by two different scans and then at 35 weeks that "hmmmm nope theres something there more likely to be a boy!!"
We went for a 3D scan and turns out it was her hand down there that he saw but it still was enough to put that doubt in my head and confuse me.
Your 20 wk scan doesnt seem that conclusive though but if you have already prepared for another little lady then I would stick with it.
Although in saying that the beautiful ladies at the 3D clinic were so wonderful and said that it was "hugely" obvious at that late stage if it is a little boy.
