HI!! I was just thinking, I don't have a post-it-girl!
My sister posted ds' birth last time, but she's not on here often anymore. So, this time I was thinking someone else.

But the people I had in mind are already PIG for others, and some of those others are due at the same time.

So, how did you chose your PIG? Should I just be my own?

I had someone who I speak to regularly do mine. And I was a P.I.G for someone recently, and I think she chose me as we're in regular contact (but not too sure).

choose whoever you want! I'm a PIG to 4 people, it's no hassle, I'm sure whoever you ask will be honoured to have been asked

I went with PZ because she's the member I feel closest to, plus I was already thinking I would ask if she could be my doula anyway so I got the package deal

For Ianto I didn't have one, because I was still kinda a newbie and although I said a few times in my buddies thread that I would like someone to do it for me, no-one took me up on it.

We are really close, wouldnt want anyone but her announcing the birth of my baby

& She is coming in with DP and I.

I agree, pick someone that you're close to, it doesn't matter who.

My hubby did my announcement both times (the first was 1.30am LOL). Next time I will be doing my own, but that's part of my healing process from needing to have a scheduled c/section

I was my own. I did have someone but they stopped hanging out on BB, so just ended up doing it myself!

DS1 I hadn't thought about, a BB member who called me asked if I wanted her to do it!!

DS2 I picked a friend I was close to and actually I did her 2nd.

Was hard as so many special people on BB to me.

Think about who you speak to frequently or value there contributions.

I need one too Scone. My PIG for DD2 will not be living in Australia when this next bub is born.

She offered to be my PIG last time, and I hadn't even thought about it but was so honored that she'd do that for me. Maybe this time I will again wait until someone offers to do it for me

lol i didnt think i would make her that popular ha ha ha and she knows i love her

first time i was too chicken to ask anyone so i did it myself i could do it myself this time coz i have mobile internet and im taking my computer lol

With DD1, it was one of my belly buddies, we all sorta just matched up with someone from our group.

With DD2 I asked the beautiful Sarah to do it for me cos she was the only one I wanted to do it.

With this one, I have already asked someone to do it if we have the baby in Queensland, however, if we end up with a homebirth I will do it myself I imagine. Mostly cos it would only be Sterla or Jahzara doing it for me, and they'll both be at the birth.. LOL

And for the record - I'm free and able to be anyone's P.I.G... LOL

I became very close to someone in the TTC thread. We became so very very close. We spoke every day via MSN and to me, it was only natural that she do my announcement! She did it and did it well! Next time I have a bubba, I have someone in mind already... and even if she does disappear from BB - she will have NO CHOICE but to drag her backside on here and do my BA!

Or I may just do it myself from the theatre... gotta kill the time somehow!
