Paint Fumes and 33 weeks preg

Hey guys

Are paint fumes bad in preg? My office is being painted and I already have VERY itchy eyes and starting to feel sick and its only been 2 hrs!!!

Should I be telling my boss I cant be here? We didnt know the office was being done as we sub-lease from another company and they didnt tell us

We were painting earlier on in pg. Water based paint seemed ok but the oil based made me feel so sick.

i painted most of my house late in pg and it didnt harm me or bub, just make sure they have plenty of air flow for you

Pregnant or not, with that reaction I would certainly be going home. Drink plenty of water and fresh air. And to help your body digest the toxins boiling hot water with a slice of lemon and drink it as hot as you can, this will help with getting the toxins out of your system pretty quick.

Look up the number for Monash Medical centre and call them - there's a pregnancy poisons centre there (the only one in Oz) where the guy will tell you over the phone.
