its normal to get cramping early in pregnancy. So much so, u are so sure AF is on her way. Most of the time its not. If the pain is getting unbearable and/or is accompained (sp) by blood, go to the hospital to get checked out.
Increased mucous is common in pregnancy, but if it gets smelly or itchy go see you GP as it could mean an infection which are also quite common in pregnancy.

Try and relax, i know its hard... remember we are all here for u, and welcome!

AF is Aunt Flo = period

Period type cramps is your body stretching etc - very normal.
If pain is really bad or there is blood go to your doctor or hospital.

It isnt a feeling that is easy to get used to - normal to think the worst.
I am having #4 and i still cant get used to it !

    Congratulations !!

Missy79- I'm not far behind you -- will be 5 weeks on Wednesday. I have had the same period-like cramps on and off since just before my BFP, but have read that it's completely normal -- just the uterus preparing itself to support a growing baby. It's not a nice feeling, I know, but I just try to stay calm and breath through it and stay positive. They have been less and less so hopefully they'll go soon.

When's your due date? I think I'm Nov 4, but am having a scan on Wednesday so hopefully the DR can confirm that.

Good luck for your H&H nine months!!
