Unhappy Please reassure me that its normal

I am still bleeding.. I have spent 2 seperate days in the hospital having tests done and having an ultrasound to be told everything is fine and to rest. I found out that i do have an UTI so have to go get antibiotics from my GP on wednesday. The last ultrasound i had showed blood in my something cavity and i can't remember what she said... my abdominal cavity... or maybe it started with 'M'.. its doing my head in.

I haven't had any bad cramping just pains here and there but nothing to worry about but the bleeding is like a light AF. The doctor from the hospital said because there is a pool of blood i may bleed for a few more days..

I just need reassurance that this is normal, maybe some stories of similar things from other people. I just have this urge to burst into tears.

I have had 2 bleeds with this baby, 1 at 10wks and 1 at 12wks.. It's so scary, I feel your pain, but If the U/S says bub's heart is beating that's all the reassurance they can give you.. I love being further along now, being able to feel Bub.. You'll be there soon too. xx

LMS - I wish there was something I could say to reassure you but short of you seeing your little bubba on the screen with a HB beating away, there is nothing anyone can say to make you feel 100% confident. I've been where you are and bleeding SUCKS. It's a constant worry and I know the only way I got through it was to have faith and believe that my baby was going to be okay. And she is The Dr said you would probably bleed for a few more days so it's not totally unexpected but that doesn't make it any easier I know. One thing I found of comfort was how apparently "normal" it was for bleeding to occur, when I researched online, there were quite a few forums that discussed it. There's a thread here in BB for women who bleed during pregnancy, I can't cut and paste on this laptop but have a look around and you should find it.

I bled with both my healthy pregnancies hun

I know its so hard to not stress, but try to put your feet up - stress isn't going to do you, or bubby any favours!

Hun totally get where your coming from. I bled at 5 6 and 9 weeks and its so nerve wracking. I had a perigestational bleed seen on a scan at 9 weeks. Can your gp do scans in their office? Or can your gp refer you to get regular scans for piece of mind?

Hugs honey I'm sure bubs is ok bleeding in pregnancy sucks but some women just bleed without reason and most mummas and bubs are okay. If you need to chat my inbox is always open x

Oh hun, it sucks I know! I had bleeds at 6 and 8 weeks with DD and they were fairly heavy but she was born healthy. Scared the **** out of me though!
