Poor DF .... finding it hard to DTD....

Is anyone else finding it physically difficult to DTD as you are getting further along in your pg??

DF is really understanding as he realises midweek he's got nooooooo chance as I am exhausted but I just feel so ungainly at the moment I really can't be bothered doing it at all.

The only position thats working for us now is doggy and it has never done much for me so once again not much incentive there either.

and it doesn't help that I am painfully aware of the weird saddle bag lumps and bingo arms that have appeared too

is anyone else experiencing this or is it just me?

Yeah - hi - me over here finding it hard as well!

Everything gets uncomfy. During the week I'm like you too. Thankfully DH has been just as tired recently so I haven't felt so bad wanting to go to sleep...

And like you I'm conscious of my lumpy bits...

But DH woke me up in the middle of the night last night and said we needed to DTD right now

He was sleep talking but it struck me that I think I need to be more attentive... If he is sleep talking about it... I'd better get onto my wifely duties...

    OP -
DF got back into bed with me this morning when I was half asleep and he was already dressed for work and he tried subliminal messaging ...LOL
So tonight I think I am going to have to pep myself up and take care of him

    https://www.bellybelly.com.au/forums...nancy-tmi.html

Also thre was a DVD which I got hold of, NOT what I was expecting, but hey if you want some tips look for "Nina Hartley's Guide to Sex During Pregnancy".......

be warned, my jaw hit the floor when I realised how graphic it was, but VERY informative......

    hi all

doubledee i'm not as far as you but who can be bothered during the week with work, cooking, house work - i mean please!

i've also been 'trying' to make more of an effort for DP - he commented one day that before i got UTD it was every day - sometimes more and now nothing. i felt bad like i'd got what i wanted even though it was what we both wanted LOL.

oceanprincess i laughed so loud when i read your OH was sleep talking about DTD. if that was me i'd be like 'sure you were asleep' LOL

Hi Dee, I have the same problem lol my poor DF hasn't had much, and the only time I was really into DTD was what got me UTD in the first place lol

Most of the time I'm too tired to even consider it and the rest of the time there's the issue (in my mind at least) of a big baby belly being in the way.

Kitten - I am so saving your thread into my favourites list to look at with DF later for some idea's

OP - I had to laugh at your DH sleep talking about it lol the last time something like that happened between DF and me was about a week before we found out we were expecting when I woke up with his hand 'down there' (sorry, tmi), and in the morning he said he'd woken up with my hand 'down there' on him lol I don't remember doing that though!

You're not alone Dee! Not a lot goes on in the bedroom these days. Even though my belly isn't that big, it's still in the way enough that doggy style is the only comfy position. DH is so good, doesn't pressure me (or even bring it up), even though I know he wants to.

It's not just the physical thing for me either. I spend so much time thinking/worrying about this baby that I have trouble getting into the right headspace to DTD.

You've got to remember too that it isnt all about having to dtd, you can be very intimate in other ways like massage, cuddles, stroking and *ahem* - you know what.
I find it hard sometimes to dtd because i feel like there is 3 of us and when we do bd the baby goes crazy and it turns me off.
If you are feeling insecure about how you look, turn the lights down or buy some nice underwear that makes you feel sexy. Your hubby probably thinks that you are the most gorgeous creature i the world but i do understand how we may not think this about ourselves sometimes when we are pregnant.
    PS - have fun tonight

    Mrsb26 -
There is pretty much nothing that is going to turn your off faster than your baby doing aerial backflips while your trying to get it on ....LOL
Thanks for reminding me of that - just because we feel yuck doesn't mean thats how we look

How did you go last night Dee?

DH and I went out for dinner with the in laws, my BIL and his gf for MIL's birthday so we got home late and DH was like "I am too tired I need to go to sleep."

He'd also had a bit to drink

    We will try for tonight...........
