    positivity and calming vibes needed

    Hi ladies,
Tomorrow i'm having a scan, its the first time we'll have seen our little 'bimby'
The reason for the scan is my doctors are a little worried that there may be something wrong with the baby because of my diabetes.
I saw my doctor a few months ago and asked him about getting pregnant with diabetes, he said i can try whenever i felt like so long as i took folate for 3 months b4 hand.
This information was wrong and ive basically been told that i shouldnt be pregnant because my levels arent in a good place and i have a higher chance of a bub with spinal/nural tube abnormalities.
i feel like such an idiot for not looking into it further and getting more info, i trusted my doctor and have had a week of torture wondering if theres something wrong with my baby.
i know i need to have the scan tomorrow, but at the same time i dont want to go incase there is something wrong...i dont know what i'll do.
So please if u can muster it, send me some calming vibes and positive energy
    Thanks girls
    xxx

    On my crystals lately...

Amethyst (plus Rose Quartz) and Bloodstone
Put the Amethyst under your pillow at night with a piece of rose quartz) and the Bloodstone in your bra over your heart during the day.
Cleanse the Bloodstone every night in luke warm water and allow it to charge overnight.

Sending you some positivity and light. xox

Thanks girls, i really really appreciate it.
I've always been anxious/nervous before a scan but i've never been scared like i am atm. just the thought of being in that tiny dark room waiting to hear the person say something is making my stomach turn

HUgs hun....What was your latest A1C. According to my ob and endo the big risk of defects only really kicks in if your a1C gets over 10. All diabetics regardless of control have a slightly increased risk but it only reallt becomes an issue to be concerned about if your a1c hits double figures. So try not to panic on that score. They can really put the wind up you hey. Some of these obs like to give you all the doom and gloom scenarios. Having said that you do need to be aiming for super tight control for the rest of the pregnancy to avoid all the other pregnancy complications that could occur as I am sure they have told you.

HUgs from one who has been there just recently...it is not a nice place to be.....

they were 12 hence the freak out and serious questioning about why theyre so high..
ive only been dealing with this for 6 months so im still learning! but my levels are seeming better this week, mostly under 8

Hi girls, gotta love a screening place that runs on time!
everything is looking 100% perfect! bimby is 2.6cms long and has a heartbeat of 158bpm and was jerking and moving all over the place
we need to wait until 20 weeks to know if it will have spina bifida but atm it looks like both ends of the spine are closed.
The OB at my hospital app suprised me with a quick sneak peak scan and said he'd be highly suprised if there was something wrong as bimby is growing perfectly and to dates to which is even better!
