Is it possible to pregnant so soon after having a baby

    Hi girls
I am just really curious to know something.
I had a baby boy in June of this year - It was pretty much a text book birth , i only got a small graze. We have been DTD since we had him & we are wanting to have our babies fairly close together in age. I have had my post natal check & everything is fine "down there" so to speak.
We havent exactly been careful & if we did fall pregnant again we'd be pretty happy.

My question is , is it posisble to fall pregnant so soon after having your baby

Has anyone fallen pregnant so soon after their birth ?

    Thanks girls

It is possible to fall pregnant straight away, but usually if you're breastfeeding you wouldn't be ovulating yet.. but there's always exceptions!

    Sure is Milo.

A friend of mine had her second baby and only 3 months later, (after DTD ONCE in that time!!) found out she was 6 weeks pregnant with number 3.

They are all healthy and happy.

    HTH!

Yep, I know someone with 4 girls under 4. She was BFing & on the pill with all of them. Mother nature obviously had other plans.

Holy cow FJ! LOL. Did she keep breastfeeding them? That's the only thing that worried me about falling pg too early, it could interfere with the breastfeeding.

I don't think she did, but not because of being pregnant I think it she would have weaned fairly earlier anyway.

Pregnancy can interfer with BFing but you can feed through it. I have/am
