I'm looking for a recommendation for an acupuncturist in Melbourne. A friend suggested I try acupuncture to encourage my bubs to get ready sooner rather than later as I am carrying a very large little girl right now!
Any recommendations?
I'd probably like to go for a few sessions over the next few weeks.
Thanks!

: Fixing the spelling of acupuncture!
i've been to the bellybelly centre for acupuncture a few times - once when we were TTC and twice since i've been PG (i think - am getting very forgetful!!). i've seen sharmaine & think she's fab (but is about to go on hols i think) but i've read good reviews of all the practitioners at the centre. i'm still very early on in the scheme of things, but i did speak with sharmaine about how AC could help prepare my body for labour further down the track as well
Whereabouts in Melbourne are you? I've been seeing a lovely lady called Annalise Drok at Quiescence Traditional Chinese Medicine In Brunswick Street, Fitzroy North. She has a website, too.
I tried Justin but he only has appointments during the day, not so good for someone who is still working and in the city.
I've made an appointment with Annalise for Thursday. I feel a bit better knowing what to expect, sort of! I'll make sure I let her know if something hurts or doesn't feel right.
She said I'd definitely be ok to start preparing now for labour. Who knows, maybe I'll get some induction AC done like you AJP!
Hi Oceanprincess,
I'm sure you and your baby girl will love acupuncture (and the time-out it affords!), I too have heard lots of good things about Annalise so am confident you will be well cared for. Thankyou for the rec AJP and belfie!
Just to clarify, my latest appt is 6.15pm thurs, so I agree its a little tight for the after workies if you have to travel, but if you like I can call your boss an tell them
