Pregnancy & Acrylic Nails

I was wondering is it safe to get your nails done when you are preg?
I am getting mixed answers and I have an apt on Saturday.

I always have and my nail lady did alot of reasearch and she said its fine! enjoy!!

awesome. They are all mine with acrylic over the top and as soon as the acrylic comes of they all break off.

I got mine done several times whilst preg, only problems i found was my sense of smell was insane whilst preg and the fumes sometimes made me feel a littl ill.

I always have nail polish on my finger and toe nails but have taken it off my nails while pregnant (not sure why) I intend to get my toes nails Acrylic a couple of weeks before I am due and painted french as that's my fav spring/summer treat and it just works in well that I wont be able to reach my toes by then anyway lol
