    Pregnancy and Alcohol at events?

How do you get around saying no to alcohol at events but not causing suspicion and have people asking questions??? I didn't really have this issue last time...
    Suggestions?????

I went with the headache excuse, "I've got a headache and I just don't want to make it worse..." Usually that worked for me...

You shoud be right having one drink.

Seeming its your wedding and you will be busy, you can take glasses and strategically keep putting them down places

You could just say to people if they comment you arent drinking just tell them you have been are going easy as you want to enjoy your day! Nohing wrong with that, then just have a few sips for the toasts.

I'm on anti-biotics and can't have alcohol with them is a good one.
You could be driving and don't trust yourself to stop if you just have one.
Too tired if you have a drink you might fall asleep.

Oh... sorry if it's your wedding you're reffering to you probably wouldn't be driving

You could say you don't want to forget any of your special day so you aren't going to drink anything, or you could get some non-alcoholic champagne for toasting.
I don't know what you wold normally drink but can you fake it? eg just have coke and people assume it's rum&coke etc.

I was going to suggest you say you are detoxing, but that probably won't be too believable given it's your wedding. I think the picking up and putting down the champagne glass is good advice...
