I was going to suggest you say you are detoxing, but that probably won't be too believable given it's your wedding. I think the picking up and putting down the champagne glass is good advice...

You could try telling them that It's been a long day and drinking will just make you want to fall asleep..

To be honest it shouldn't be that hard to do at your wedding!! As I know at mine I was bust getting around to people and chatting and dancing that I kept forgetting where my drink was and in the end I think I had 1 drink at wedding!!!

Good luck and have a blast!!

Yup I agree, you will be so busy socialising with all your guests and your guests with each other that I reckon people won't even notice! Take a drink/top up when it's offered and then float on to the next group, table etc. If you constantly or regularly have a drink in your hand, people just assume you're drinking from it. Get your DH to be to help you out too by deflecting discussions if they move in that area. You can also try drinking water for a while and telling people that you just downed 2 (or three or whatever!!) glasses quite quickly and it's gone to your head so you're having a water before your next drink.

GL hun and enjoy your big day!

Tell people that you and your DH plan to start TTC straight away and decided to not drink just in case.

I was pregnant on my wedding day and no one even noticed that I didn't drink alcohol. Our glasses were pewter and for the toast, mine was filled with lemonade. DH annouced the pregnancy in his wedding speech and everyone was shocked we'd kept it a secret! lol

All the best for your pregnancy and for your big day

You can get non alcoholic wine from the supermarket if you want people to think you are drinking. But, as Feeb said, it's your wedding day, you won't have alot of time to drink.

Hope you have a great day...

I didnt drink at my wedding and no one even made a comment. Maybe you can get away with it, otherwise if someone says something just say "oh i put it down somewhere" and if they get you another well you can just dump it off somewhere.
