ngala, i feel like you...im 7 weeks and feel disgusting..im sure i wasnt this naseaus the first time, it has been constant for about a week now - just feeling disgusting all day.
and the tiredness sucks - trying to run a business and look after a toddler..but the naseau is still worse, im off to the chemist to try ginger, b6 and accupuncture wrist bands..
Pelvic pain! its the worst i have felt with all my pregnancies (this is the 3rd) and it is killing me!!! Plus im getting BHs with every movement bubs does! I want 7 weeks to go quickly!! How can i make it go faster??????
Now i have to go and bath DS and have to walk up stairs, thats going to kill me even more! Oh well the joys of being pg.. Not that i would change anything i just want to hold my little man in my arms and have a cuddle!!

DF wasnt here to bath him he was too busy fishing! So i did it. I am now still in pain go for my app this arvo so i will be saying something to the dr... When i go to these apps and DF comes he looks at me stupid when i ask questions... Like i should know. Ha. I know this is my 3rd pg but it is so diff from the last 2. Oh well. I will go to the app without him today.
Caro it doesnt sound good with your foot..i hope they can do something to ease the discomfort for you.
Better go and stop whinging or i will be here all day.

OK sorry for not mentioning the above posts but I just need a whinge. :(
I'm beginning to be over this whole pregnancy thing. I'm sick of not sleeping properly (and yes I know thats not going to get better when the baby's here!!). Sick of sleeping on one side then rolling over to the other being a mjor effort.
Sick of worrying about the baby when I don't feel it move for a little bit - I'm just sick of being paranoid :(
Sick of having sore fingers thanks to the carpel tunnel syndrome I've just developed in the last week or so.
Sick of being tired all the time.
Sick of people giving me advice - and then saying oh you'll learn! when I don't seem to be taking notes on their advice!
Just tired and grumpy I guess. :( Thanks for letting me whinge.
Awww Percy... it sux hey? The rolling over thing used to drive me nuts too. Sleeping was just difficult at times. It does get better once the baby is here becuase it's different. At least you'll be able to get comfortable.
I hope the next 5 weeks or so zoom along for you. You're at the home stretch!
Ohhh I remember the rolling over thing too. DH falls asleep so easy that I didn't feel bad about waking him up and saying 'I need to roll' and he'd help me :P Could you ask for some assistance?
Oh and as for the sleep, people used to say to me too, 'you think it's bad now, wait til you have the baby'. Well, rubbish. Sure, you wake up a few times a night, but it's deep sleep when you sleep, and you can sleep on your tummy and your back (you can even sleep on your tummy if your boobs are full to bursting, you just gotta prop yourself right with pillows - it's bliss for a tummy sleeper).
So take heart, you're not too far away!
Oh Percy i am feeling exactly what your feeling too sweets. Your only about a week in front of me. I hope you get some rest, even if it is a nanna nap during the day (im soooo glad DS sleeps for about 3 hrs during the day) Lets just hope you can sleep.
Dont worry about not writing everything down, every baby is different so you wont know what is best for your baby... I could never tell the difference between DS's crying.... I had to look at the clock to make sure it was feed time! Now that sounds bad doesnt it.. But when you have your precious baby in your arms you will forget about all the discomfort and sleeplessness, and as Nelle said, yes you do wake up a few times a night but when you go back to sleep its a deep sleep till the next feed (or when your other children wake). Dont worry i think you will make a fantastic mum! Goodluck with the birth..

I know what it's like to have carpel tunnel syndrome i had it so bad when i was pg with Alexander but not had it with this pregnancy. Maybe for me it was a boy thing.
The sleep thing is awful i hate trying to roll over at night it takes so much out of you.
Try and get some rest during the day. Sometimes i fall asleep on the sofa and listen out for Kimberley and Alex i get the stage that i can't stay awake any longer and will clean up what mess they make when i wake up.

thanks guys for your support. I don't have other children so I can sleep during the day but just don't seem to be able to at the moment. Am too uncomfortable :(
Anyways only 5 weeks to go! Am already 1/4 descended so hopefully I won't be late!! (well one can hope!)
Have you treid to sleep sitting up ? I find that helps when i get to uncomfortable.
I really want a stomping feet icon. I am feeling like crap. I seem to have developed a cold despite the 35+ degrees! I've had a swollen and awful throat for the last 3 days and can't make it stop hurting even though I've done salt water gargles, throat lozengers etc. My nose has started running and bleeding. My eyes are itching. I am boiling hot and can't get cool - then have a wonderful moment of chills. I have a fever (haven't taken my temp but can feel it) and FEEL LIKE CRAP! It would be manageable if I wasn't alredy feeling down and out with this pregnancy at the moment or if DH was here to look after me. *sniffle* I'm such a sook!!!! I hope this fever breaks soon and the cold goes away!

Oh MG and Caro i hope you are feeling better soon. I think i may be getting what you have MG as my DF has it also! Lucky us hey!!
Percy try darkening your room and laying there for a while with your eyes closed, listen to a relaxation cd?
MG i just had a thought! With the heat, do you have a foot spa? If so try that for the cooling off. I am going to have to do it today as its going to be hot. Its only 9:15 and im already getting puffy!!

I am sick of poor circulation, dihorrea (i have had it most of this tri, it comes and goes although it seems to be getting worse!!) and just generally not being able to move. BHs are getting worse, all day, EVERYTIME bubba moves i get one! WTF!! He is definately doing the awake/sleep pattern like a newborn, AND ITS DRIVING ME NUTS!! It also doesnt help that i have a 2yo who has decided to create havoc all day.... Oh bring on the labour so i can have a holiday in hospital!!! LOL

scorpiomum i so here you on a toddler creating havoc all day i have a 4yr old well nearly 4 and a 20month old and OMG what havoc they can both cause when i want 10mins peace.
Also i am with you with the stay in hospital i can't wait to 4 days with someone bring me breakfast, lunch & dinner in bed LOL
DH always calls it my mini holiday.
I cant stand being away from DS either, but im sure DF will bring him in twice a day or more. Oh i forgot about the breakfast lunch and dinner deliverys, i will also have to get DF to make me some fried rice and pork stuff i love to eat! As hospital food (here in my area) isnt too good, tastes like plastic to me! LOL. But the holiday sounds sooooo good!
Caro - I too am looking forward to my holiday in hospital! I'm going to use it as a special time to bond with my new baby... tho I will miss Gabby incredibly. With any luck I won't be in there for 5 days like last time (due to not having a caesar ;) ).
Scorpio - uno what? I like hospital food!! LOL I love how it's brought right to you. It doesn't take much to impress me obviously! Good idea getting your DF to make up the food you like tho.

I have already told DH I'm limiting my hospital stay to 2 days - when you work in a hospital why would you want to stay in one? But having read some of the stories on BB - I might think about staying longer.
Deb - you sick sick girl!!! LOL - I hate hospital food. With a pashion! But I'm on a first name basis with the operators of the two hospital cafe's adjacent to my hospital and I've already warned DH and friends at work that they're on call to bring me food if the ward stuff is too bad! LOL.
I'm over being pregnant and my lowered immune system. Why can't I fight an illness at the moment? I've never had a cold for this long. Ever. I want it gone. I want my energy back. This morning I've dragged myself out of bed to the couch and am sitting here thinking how lovely it is to sit and how much my body is NOT complaining about sitting still (I'm always on the go) and I DON'T LIKE IT! I want energy and I want activity! I feel so old. Not long to go now tough...

LOL Debbie at liking hosp food... I think ive had that much of it (VSD repair pneumonia and collapsed lung etc all ended me up in hosp as a kid) i am not liking it anymore. I used to love it when i was younger... Maybe the thought of being able to choose what i wanted. At Wollongong hosp you have like a smorgass (sp?) board that you chan get things yourself, all the yummy kind, but i wont be staying there i am labouring there and then being transferred to Shellharbour hosp which is closer (5 min drive compared to 20 or so) the only downfall is that i cant have bubby at Shellharbour. But its ok coz the midwives at shellharbour hosp are nicer than wollongong! If you get my drift... I hope to only stay a few days in hosp but with my heart i may have to stay longer... I hope i dont have complications.
Im getting scared now, only 5 weeks and 6 days till im due, I could "go" any minute.
MG REST! Maybe its your body getting you ready for the big day, as you have said you were 6 weeks early!!

Jen - this has been on my mind today.... keep looking at my pile of stuff for hospital and my empty suitcase wondering if I should make myself pack - how long have I been meaning to pack for? ROFL:

I like hospital food as well and not sure how long i will stay in for. I'm having a c-section so i know i will be in for at least 3-4 days. I'm looking forward to a little rest.
I've had the sweat like that also Caro and so much at night lucky with the cooler weather i haven't been as bad.
When i had Alex he was born at 2.36pm on a Wednesday i was out of bed the next morning and home on the Sunday morning. But i was only in that long because he was in special care until the Saturday afternoon.
Yep Caro that was with a c-section they like to get you out of bed as soon as possible.
They liked you to be out after 3-4days when i had Alex not sure what this hospital will be like.
I don't know how long i will stay in for as i know i will have to share a room and i don't like that idea. I was lucky with Alex i had a room to myself but with Kimberley i had to share area with 3 other mums but i could have been sharing with at least 8 new mums and babies.
Are the sweats a pregnancy thing? I've been waking really icky lately but just assumed it was either the silly hot weather or my cold! Maybe I can blame the sweats on my cold? Waking sweaty when the weather is cool making me colder? LOL. I find that I'm waking all sweaty and boiling so kick the covers off only to want them back on in 5 seconds!
Michelle - I thought the 3-4 day was about average for a c-sect. I'm going private and the hospital advises 4-5 days in hospital which is 1 day longer than the public hospitals. although they'll keep you longer if there is a reason. The way I'm feeling at the moment - I'm starting to view the hospital stay as a holiday as well... I'm even going to leave DH a list of things to do so I don't have to do anything when I get home! ROFL. I'm so cruel!
I have to say I'm over the breathlessness I've developed today. It sux. Just sitting reading a book I felt breathless (and it wasn't even anything exciting I was reading!). Really - I love being pregnant. I just don't love these little "side effects" I'm suddenly getting!
Caro I am going to Joondalup and they have single or double rooms.
I'm also going public.
Not unless all the double rooms are being used at the time but you never know i might be lucky and get a single room due to the fact I've half lived at the hospital since 26wks.
Woohoo im not the only one sweaty under boobs! Thank goodness!
I was only in hosp for 2 days with Zhai, we came home on my birthday. Yep i had him 2 days before my bday. So i was anxious to get home, plus i missed sleeping next to DF. Im making a list for DF to do when im in hosp, like washing the bassinette sheets etc to make them all fresh.
I hope we all get single rooms, i got one with Zhai and it was so good. But there were hardly any people there when i arrived and when i woke in the morn the whole ward was full! LOL
oh guys, my pelvis and pubic bone are killing me :( Please tell me this won't last forever!

I got that same kinda pain and my OB said it would hang around to the end but mine is definately much better, i still get it occasionally but no where near as bad as at the start.

OK, just a really stupid vent here - I hope this makes you laugh your way out of the pain you're all in:
I WANT BOOBS! Everyone told me that being pregnant meant I'd finally get boobs and I STILL don't have any! I don't even fill a B-cup! It's not fair! And everyone else whinges about how they've grown 5-6 sizes and I don't have boobs!
Oh yes, I'll do a proper one too: a very active baby at about 37w is also quite painful, and I now don't trust myself to drive because when the baby engages and I have a contraction and get kicked all at once I'm not the safest person out on the road, but still have to go shopping tomorrow else the baby will have no clothes. Why did I wait for the sales? At least I don't have to drive in rush-hour and can avoid the traffic on the back roads. DH is taking the car away next week just in case I go into labour and he needs to get back... this is scary as it means I'll go into labour, why am I not prepared for this thought yet?
I hear you loud and clear Ryn. My bb's just haven't grown. I guess you could say they have swelled a bit but nowhere near I was hoping for. Guess we just have to hang in there until our milk comes in. Apparantely they grow to awesome sizes and I've actually seen this at work.
I second that motion Fletch! If i could i would give RYN and NURSE DAN some of mine... Wouldnt that be great! Then i could go and buy some pretty bra and knicker sets. Oh well that breast reduction sounds great, i tell my DF i want one all the time. He always says the same thing,..... NO! GRRRR he doesnt have to carry them around!
Ryn i hear you on the driving factor. Apparantly bubba of mine isnt engaged yet but im sure he is getting down there as i cant sit for long periods, well uprite, i have to kind of lean back then my back gets sore even with support! Also my last labour was painful but quick, you may be another lucky one Ryn with a quick labour. I have my fingers crossed for you sweets. My labours have only been 4 hrs DD and 5hrs DS. Hoping this one is 3 hrs!! Ha i wish.
