Pregnant mummies...hwat are you wearing for christmas do's??

So I am having issues with finding something nice to wear to the few things I have on over christmas. I usuallylike to wear nicer things or something I wouldn't normally wear. Like a nice dress or skirt. But being almost 32wks pg, and nowhere near any maternity clothes shops, or any shops at all for that matter, it's proving difficult for me to find anything half decent that doesn't cost the earth. Which is another matter. I can't affort alot of $$ right now, particularly for an outfit I wouldn't be wearing very much, since I'd only have about 2 things on for christmas, and then about 3-4weeks to go before baby is born after chrissy anyway!! The things I have to go to so far are an informal bbq (though would like to look nice and not wear my cargo shorts if I can help it!) a dinner (not anything formal, but again would like to look nice!) and christmas, which will be seeing people coming and going, and just with my kids and hubby.
So what have you got to wear?? Is it something new you have brought? If so WHERE!!?? Oh, and it has to be something cool, it's gonna be scorching HOT out here at chrissy time!

I was going to suggest maxi dresses as well. Ebay has some nice ones sometimes!

I must admit I have been getting alot of stuff from Ezibuy this pregnancy, I have bought a couple of dresses which come in under the bust and then just drop so fit okay over the tummy. They have looks longer tops, which you could wear over white knee length legging type things. Alot of things don't have to be maternity wear just the loose style over the tummy will do. Tunic type things. Have a look at their website and see if anything appeals. Good luck, you will look lovely no matter what.

    Ebay!

I also have a large red bauble kind of an outfit - wore it for halloween as a poison apple. Would work quite well as a giant Christmas decoration too.

All my favourite dresses and pants have been ebay or op shop purchases.
