    Question prosterior placenta?

    Ok so I have just been told my placenta is prosterior.

    What exactly does this mean for me and bubs?

    TIA

    Posterior means towards your back. When bubs is posterior, it means that his spine is against your spine. Sounds like it is in a good spot to me.

    Yep - If the placenta is anterior it means that you might not feel the movements as much, so I would assume by that, posterior is normal??
    The higher up the better I think too.

    Posterior = towards the back
    This is the best/safest position for the placenta to be

    Nope Danni, its not a problem. Its only really a problem if placenta is low, as it may cover the cervix, which is bad.
