Im definately no gym junkie but was doing 2 pump classes a week and a fitball class for about 8 months prior to falling pregnant. I still continued, but did the following

......gradually dropped my weights down so I didn't put too much stress on my body.
    ......stopped abdominal exercises fairly early
......used a fitball on wall for squat track when I started getting bigger.
    ......didn't lie on back
......stopped at 30 weeks when my back couldnt take it any more.

Thanks so much for your replies

Wow...you guys are super fit...leesa, you are a machine! I struggle with the plank for more than a minute lol!

I'm going to go to the afternoon class tomorrow and I'll be sure to let the instructor know but can I ask a stupid question....should I not be laying on my back now? I thought that you should not lay flat on your back from the 2nd trimester but maybe I have that wrong?

You're fine to continue laying flat on your back up until aroudn the 16 wk mark hun - unless advised otherwise by your GP!

    Enjoy your class
