    Found this online

The rash first appears on stretchmarks on the belly, then spreads to legs and arms, but does not affect the face. The rash looks like litte ant bites, is extremely itchy and should be easily diagnosed by your doctor. The best treatment is steroid cream and antihistamines, also switch to a soap free wash. Try not to scratch it, but as any one who has experienced this before knows, that is practicaly impossible. Lotions and creams with zinc and aloe vera will also be appreciated, and if you would like to try some herbal remedies my suggestions are Flaxseed Oil and Dandelion Root.

I had PUPPS and OMG I feel so sorry for your cousin, it really is nasty.

Nothing much helped me at all unfortunately. I spent lots of time soaking in a bath just to get away from the itching. I tried every lotion and potion I could think. My OB did prescribe some very low cortisone cream which helped a little at night which is when I was the most itchy. I also used a lot of sorbolene as I found that if my skin dried out it was soooo much worse.

I really feel for her. Unfortunately the only cure is to give birth! The itching stopped as soon as I went into labour and the rash was all gone about 3 weeks after DD was born.

I too had PUPP! It was the WORST experience of my life. I was getting no sleep at all! It first appeared at 35 weeks and for each visit at the hospital they tried something different. First they thought it was something that was going to affect baby but it wasnt that. They even tried gaviscon cause they said that it may help soothe it. I ended up taking prednisone on a VERY low dose just so I could get some sleep. It helped - thank god but I really really didnt want to take any sort of medication while I was pregnant. It is a horrible thing - I didnt even leave the house when I got the rash. It was the ugliest I ever felt!
But as Sangie said - the only cure was birth and it took a few weeks to go away completely.
