I had my 12wk scan done @ Qld Xray & wasn't charged anything for it.. I got a dvd with copies of the photos also..
I have my 20wk scan booked for there, so am curious to see what I will get charged this time..

I think they are free up to 12wk. And they are ok with you bringing a dvd in for it to be reocorded? That's pretty cool. Which Qxray was it?

I am not sure, I didn't ask them..
I didn't even know that I would get one as this is my first full pregnancy down this way LOL.
It was Qld Xray @ Cleveland..

At Qld Xray I got charged for my current 7wk dating scan. But I was never charged for any u/s that resulted in miscarriage. The staff at Logan Central are excellent, but I have had a horrible experience at another branch.

Not a Qld Xray clinic but I can highly recommend the 'Lifespan' clinic at Roma St in the city, they were fantastic even though I did have to pay for my scan.

Oh and my experience at the Qld Xray clinic at Upper Mt Gravatt (off Kessels Rd, across from Garden City shopping centre) was fantastic too.

I have heard of a clinic at Loganholme called (I think) Precious previews? Apparently they have big screens and you can have 10 people in the room to see the ultrasound. And you get a dvd and photos? It does cost ($190-230). There is no rebate though. It's not a diagnositc ultrasound, just purely for your own keepsake.

I went to QXray at cooparoo for my first u/s at 6 weeks, which cost $135 and we got just under half back from medicare. They also dont do vidoes or dvds. Are there any x/ray places that bulk bill and will do a dvd or video? i really want one for my u/s at 18 weeks, but cant afford to pay for the ultrasound.
