OK i dont wanna call the hospital and sound like a twit so i thought id ask on here first!
I have a tummy bug...which i though was early labour...LOL.
Anyhow, have had it since Friday night now and for most of yesterday and today BumbleBee has not moved a great deal, still moving, but not to active like he had been prior to me getting sick.
Could it be because of this bug he has slowed down and not moving much?
Can he get this tummy bug too (sorry that might sound so stupid)
Should i be worried about this and call the hospital or just keep watch on movements
I called my OB at 5am the other week, because I had a tummyache and I was worried. Calling in the middle of the day should be fine and you should expect a sensible response from them.
Call the hospital hunni! saves waiting around here for a responce! And its what they are there for... The amount of times i have called the hospital and Not one time was i made to feel stupid for asking
maybe bumblebee is getting ready for brith? dont books tell us that?
but i'd call the hossy, better to sound stupid then worry your self senceless or miss something that may not be 'right'... i called thinking i had early labour a few days ago...and i think they may be used to it!
Kim - I'd call them hun. Once I got close to my DD and then with monitoring afterwards they told me to call them with any significant difference in bubs movements. It could be that Bumblebee is resting after your tummy bug and getting ready for exit but I would be inclined to call and see what they say. I hope you are feeling better hun and that your little prince makes his presence known soon!
I had a tummy bug around EDD with DD#3......as a result of me vomitting so much, thus being severly de-hydrated, i did go into labour. I was like you and felt silly for ringing the midwives, but when i did ring them at 1am they told me to get in straight away - i ended up having her 90 mins later..........i would call them anyway....hopefully youve already done that.
