Question for those having baby number 2, 3 or more...
hi there belly belly ladies,
I know many of you will say 'don't worry'... but as much as I cannot wait to have our 2nd baby, I am getting a anxious about weight gain and trying to cope with my increasing size. This I know stems from being athletic and used to being light and energetic and in a sport that requires you to be light (triathon and long distance running are my passions).
I am putting on a bit more weight than I did with my first...at 22 weeks I have put on 7.2kgs and from my records with my first at this stage I put on 6kgs.....but I feel heavier too. I know, I know, this is not a lot of difference, but please understand that I don't have any others to talk to about this, and I am not used to being this size that it is effecting my confidence and self esteem a bit. Yes, I am bit obsessive, but also cannot wait to get into triathlon racing again - I miss it!!
My problem is I need to eat less biscuits and cakes and peanut butter and chocolate!! It is my diet that is probably the cause of the extra bit of weight as I am still out there running, swimming, yoga and weights.
Sorry for raving.......but needed to say this to someone!! thanks for your understanding in advance. and yes, I know it will be all worth it when that beautiful baby comes, and a litle brother or sister for my son.
