    - every baby is precious, they arrive when they arrive - and if people don't want to have THEIR baby in December - well, keep your knees together in April!

Couldnt have said it better myself!!

My first angel baby was due in Dec.... I would have given anything for a dec birth after we lost him/her

Don't listen to them... they obviously have issues.

DD2's birthday is 17th Dec, I never had a problem with it and she gets lots of presents all in a week or 2. She does complain sometimes mid year that she has to wait so long but all kids do that LOL
My bro and his DD are both born on 27th december which can be a pain for them but if everyone is nice and buys seperate presents then its fine.
School is perfect for december babies cause they are already 5 when school starts.

HUGS! It shouldnt matter when you are due - it should be about the amazing fact that you are going to have a BABY!!!

I am a December baby - it really doesnt matter! I didnt miss out on anything. Maybe I was the last to turn 18 and last to get my License - but really, it made no difference!!!

i just found out i'm due jan 7 .... and am now hoping i can go in early (electing c/s) and would be VERY HAPPY with a dec 27/28 date. better that i think than just after NYD when people disappear and go on holidays. plus there's always stocktake sales ... imagine all the great pressies they will get from friends and family when things are 50% cheaper double the value for half the price

Pfffffffft it is all good, DS's birthday is the 23rd Dec and to me it is still a special day despite being so close to Christmas. Yes it is a busy time of the year, but hey that adds to the excitement- and I think the most important thing is that he knows he is loved and appreciated by his family (and really that is all that matters). There may be a few years as he grows up when he finds it a pain being that it is close to chrissy/ school holidays etc, but once you get to about 18 when your birthday is in the year doesnt matter!!

I'm due on 21 Dec and I really couldn't care less! This baby has been so long coming it's a gift whenever it decides to arrive.

My birthday is 9 January and I used to complain that it was over so quickly and I had to wait A WHOLE YEAR for it to come around again.
