    Rib pain

I get this pain on the left side behind my ribs when I sleep on my side. I'm much better on my back - but I know I can't sleep on my back forever! Any suggestions as to what causes the rib pain? (and any other ways to alleviate it without sleeping on my back?)

    Thanks!!

    Thanks Kelly.
I had a read of the article - but it was talking about 3rd trimester causes of rib pain. I'm still only 12 weeks - would that still be caused by my uterus pushing on my abdomen?

If its any comfort I am getting the worse rib pain ever too!! I sit at my desk all day and by 12:00 im in so much pain. Im thinking of doing a Marylin Manson (or was it Prince) and removing a few ribs so there is more room for Mr Naughty Pants in there haha!

hehe... now there's a suggestion I hadn't thought of. Seems a little drastic - but maybe I could keep at as plan B?
