Wow hun what a week. How awful for you. I'm not very knowledgable compared to a lot of ladies on here but I do know that the heart begins to beat at roughly six weeks and sometimes, depending what equipment is used, where bubs is and how your uterus is it might be difficult or unable to detect until a bit later. If your hcg is doubling every coupling of days that is a good sign. As difficult as it is, this early in pregnancy is a waiting game. Hopefully you can go back and get another scan and more bloods to confirm that all is progressing well.
