So far, yep pretty different - DD I was a lot sicker, more emotional and oh my god I'm not ready for this...
This time I'm a lot more relaxed, but soooo much tireder. Baby is a lot more active with some really thumping kicks, rather than little pokes and wriggles but that could be the boy vs girl thing.
Yep, i was so sick with my DD's pregnancy but this time i'm feeling pretty good. i only had mild nausea, no vomiting this time. Hoping it continues and i can avoid carpal tunnel and the other ickies i had with my DD too.
strangelk - lol we're completely the opposite! You sound like how I was with Moo!
Nelle - yes that makes a lot of sense, there are a few differences this time such as not working as a nurse, I guess that was hard on me at the time.
Misty - lol that makes me feel better! Amazing you can have 4 different pregnancies!
CK - yeah maybe emotions have a bigger part to play than I first thought. My first pregnancy was such a shock to the system, perhaps that's why I found it all harder whereas this time I feel pretty cruisy
HotI - that's great you're feeling better so far, hope the rest of your pegnancy goes smoothly!
There could be something in that CM - DD wasn't planned, my relationship was far from stable and I was a good 10 years younger - barely 20. So not really ready at all, which emotionally impacted the pregnancy quite a bit. This time the pregnancy was planned and very much wanted, relationship is steady and I'm in a much better place.
If you weren't really ready for your first, or even if you were there's so much to adjust to becoming a parent for the first time, and it's a lot to take in - second time around you sort of know what to expect so are more prepared maybe?
