    Sharp shooting pain inside woohoo?

has anyone noticed a sharp shooting pain inside their woohoo? I have noticed it just this week. It comes and goes very quickly but once it made me jump. Is there anything I should be worried about? I have no bleeding or anything else other than Braxton Hicks.

Not sure puppies! Maybe mention it at your next checkup and seen as you haven't had any bleeding or anything else don't stress to much a bout it. Maybe it has something to do with all the extra blood flow you have when pregnant!

I had that every now and then throughout the third tri. I think it happened maybe 3 or 4 times in total. If I was walking I would have to stop as it was impossible to walk while it was happening. I don't know what it was but all was well.

Ok, I actually asked my ob about this Why am I embarressed ... because everytime I ask my ob about something similar ... his answer usually has something to do with my bowels

You describe it so perfectly. My recent three were all on Sunday afternoon (hanging washing is not fun when this happens)

My ob said that it has to do with pressure of wind/gas or if you need to have a bowel movement. So I would guess that you have a bit of constipation, right?? Because that is my problem atm. Try upping your fibre and fluid intake and .... try and f@rt as often as possible!!

I get a sabbing pain like a skewer up the hoo haa quite often and I'm sure it doesn't have much to do with bowel movements!
I think it's more to do with bub stretching and headbutting my cervix.

I had the same thing all throught the 3rd trimester. I asked my ob (cause it really got painful towards the end) and he just said it was bubs bumping up against your cervix. At the end of your pregnancy, it also helps the cervix to dialiate (and considering I was already 2cm dialated before I was even induced, you could say it worked!!!). Hope it doesn't get too painful for you. HTH

I am seeing my Ob tomorrow morning so I will ask him as well and see what he says. It did seem to happen while I was a bit windy.

Ok ... it's just that when this happens, I don't feel bub moving. What I was feeling were seperate from bubs moving

    But hun, ask your ob.

I'm assuming you mean your vagina.

Yes, I have had shooting pains internally through my vagina and pelvic floor muscles. There's a lot less room in there for intestines so wind is a problem (try peppermint tea). When you think of all the tugging, squashing and nerve in there, I guess it's no surprise!

I've been getting the same thing at the moment, ever since my internal exam last week... usually it coincides with everything in my pelvis tightening up though...
