Yep, bubba's staying in, she hasn't lost any more fluid, hasn't had any more contractions etc. I tell you, I didn't expect this story to have a happy ending, but it has!
Wow, I just came across this thread and I am so happy to hear the good news!! Sending some big prayers to your friend and her little boy, I pray very hard that he continues to thrive and stays put for a long while yet!
oh wow im so relieved for your friend this thread brought back a lot of memories for me had DS at 25 weeks and then with DD1 had exactly the same thing happen to me as it didnt your friend at 26 weeks and my DD ended up being 8 days overdue so heres to hoping this little bubba remains where he is until its well and truly safe to come out
Your poor friend, how stressful. I'm so relieved for her that it looks like she will have a happy ending after all. I have all my fingers and toes crossed for her.
I am really happy to read things are going better. Stay put little bubba! Hope bubs stays for a lot longer now. Will your friend have to stay in hospital until he is born?
Rach xx
oh huni im sooo glad things are doing ok.
i was born at 24 weeks myself weighed 1lb 14oz and even though it was a long time when i was ill. im ok now. my thoughts and prayers are with your friends and there familys. lots of love xxx
I just saw this thread. I'm soo glad your friend's bubba is staying put! My aunt went through the same thing at 19 weeks and they couldn't stop the labour. Her DD only lived for 1 hour, so I'm so glad that someone else is getting this miracle and their baby is sticking in there!
Sending prayers their way!

She'll be 24 weeks tomorrow, and she's looking forward to an u/s today, to check on bub. Apparently the doc thinks bub is big by the way she's measuring, which everyones pleased with - hopefully he'll be okay even if he's born early
I pray that she makes it many more weeks, as every day in the belly tends to count as 3 in NICU, size is a big help, but there are so many other factors that come into the equation.
24 weeks is a HUGE milestone, and I hope we get to celebrate many more with you SG as your friend bakes her precious little bundle.
I hope that she is being treated better too byt the hospital staff, it was terrible to hear how little they had been helping her
