Show/Mucus Plug

Hi,

I am past my due date (40 weeks and 3 days) and noticed a thick mucos discharge in my undies, but there was no blood. It is different to normal discharge, thicker and more egg whitey. As there was no blood I was wondering if this was called the show or not? Does it mean labour is not far away????

Sounds like your plug starting to come away so it sounds like things are starting to happen. With DD1 my OB told me it didn't mean that I was close and could be a week away - however my waters broke the next day
