Skin tags in pregnancy

I had skin tags around my arm pits and they have gone now. An obstetrician said they are very prevalent in pregnancy with all the extra hormones.

Mine didn't go after pg and I will have to have them chopped off. None in my mouth though.

ive had one come up on my belly & a couple on my areola, i had one removed off my nipple a couple of times but its coming back again.. ive heard that they go away afterward but ive also heard they can stay.. as nickle said..

the skin tag on my nipple was removed the first time with tying "string" around it until it went black & fell off, it grew back again so they removed it by freezing it off.. im not sure if freezing would be an option if its inside your mouth though?? maybe ask about the string thing?

Mine disappeared after my babies arrived - I didn't touch them while pregnant and they just seemed to die and fall off afterwards.

I got a couple of them on my chest closer to my armpits, just tiny ones, and they haven't gone away. As of yet, anyways.

What exactly are they?
I had this thing that kinda looked like a mole at first but then got longer and bigger.
I was worried but then out of the blue it just fell off!
This was towards the middle of my 2nd trimester...
Was this a skin tag?
