Hello ladies. Just wondering if anyone has had this before or knows what it's about. If I stand up fast and my belly goes from being curled over to stretched out quickly, I get a brief sharp pain in my lower abdomen...? If I stand up slower it doesn't happen.
It's early days for me and I figure this is just my body trying to sort itself out and adjust to a uterus demanding more space but I've not heard this described before.
It's probably your ligaments which are looser now due to the relaxin in your system (caused by preggie hormones). Better start taking it easy when standing up . I'm sure you will have lots more unexplained pains to come yet!
I should say though - If you are ever concerned about any pain you are experiencing, make sure you speak to your dr/midwife/ob about it, just in case
i've noticed that too - it kinda feels like cramping on the side (kinda from tum into my very upper leg), not in the middle. i assume it's just my body having gotten comfy one way and not liking having to stretch to another position in a hurry.
i'm getting so many odd pains at the moment that i'm trying not to over analyse any of them!
