Strep B help

Hope someone can help me. When I went to the midwife the other day (OBGY was away) I mentioned when was the test for Strep B and she said normally around week 38. I mentioned that DD was born at 35w and there was a high chance this baby would be born that early, so when would we do the test then? She said the OBGY might do the test at 32w then but since I tested positive last pregnancy (during the pap smear 6months before I was pregnant mind you) that they would just assume I have it this time and give everyone antibiotics anyway...I was like WTF!

I mentioned I read that the results vary week to week with strep B tests and there is a high chance I wouldn't have it this time but she pretty much shrugged her shoulders and moved on to another topic.

I am not sure what to do. Should I demand a test at week 32 and hope I don't have it, or just accept that DS will have the IV since he might be born premmie anyway?

YOU get the IV antibiotics during labour, not the baby.
I have only been tested once, in my first pregnancy. Had the AB's in labour not problems.
2nd, 3rd & 4th pregnancy I didn't bother with the test (it was offered) & just agreed to the AB's in labour. 5th preg, the same just assumed I was positive but this time round was not given ab's in labour. At 11 days Rohan (5th baby) was admitted for IV antibiotics as he had conjunctivitis & the gunk coming from his eys was positive for strep b.
