    Red face stupid question.....

    hi girls....

    im a first time preggie mum to be and am still working out whats safe to eat and what to avoid....
    im going to a firneds for dinner and have to take dessert and cant be bothered making something so i thought id take cheesecake....

    what i want to no is ...

    is it ok to eat cheesecake from the cheesecake shop??
    i no its a silly question but im just not sure!!

    Yeah cause it's cooked and I'm assuming reasonably fresh! I wouldn't eat them cause I think they taste gross!!! But health wise I'm sure they're fine!

    Hi,

    mmm yum cheesecake is so yum and also safe to eat while pregnant. I was craving one a while ago and asked the midwife who said it was perfectly safe.

    Yes it is, and most cheese products are 'safe' in australia as we treat the ilk before ut is made chesse.
    The ones that you need to watch are the ones that obviosly have mould on them... like the sidt cheeses bree and camemberts and blue cheese's

    most cheese cakes unless they are a baked one don't contain egg, its making sure the egg is completely cooked i believe.. (i have indulged in a cheese cake or 2 while pregnant.. i even made one!
