You should be fine in the pool - I've been taking DD to lessons and DD's swimming teacher was teaching right up until she had her baby last month. I think over 38 degrees is not recommended but most pools aren't heated to that sort of temperature, usually only spas or hot tubs.

Yep its OK. I spoke to the owner about me going in there with my DD2 when she starts (have just started DD1 there with DH in the water with her) and he said its fine to go in the pool while preg. You aren't in there for a long time (half hour), your not fully submerged in the water hence increasing your core body temperature, and most pools are set to 33deg. Its more sauna's and spa's that are the problem as you are usually fully submerged and still enjoying the heat, it can increase your body temp too much.

One of the instructors there worked till the day before she was due with no problems, and they are in the pool for most of the day.

    Cheers,

ide say u would be fine and this weather heating up.. the pool is a great idea. I dont think the heated pools are too hot and u will know yourself if u find u are getting over heated.

Good on u for taking DD to swimming lessons. I hope she enjoys herself

Its fine. Its in the same catagory as spas, baths and showers. Provided the water isnt too hot, its totally fine. Most pools are heated but no where near an amount to worry.
I did swimming lessom with DS while pregnant with DD. The only fun part is when you have to get out of the pool

Totally off topic here but have to add a funny thought...... when my little boy started swimming lessons it was a nightmare to say the least....he did enjoy telling people that he had a "screaming lesson today" which is exactly what it was!!!

He is now approaching 16 and a promising AFL future draft!!! who would have thought.....this is the same kid who was so excited to start school and sing the national anthem at assembly as his sisters had done for years before him..... and it goes, as u all know....."Australians all are ostrichs" funny little boy!!!
