Ok ngala babe... Got into my text books from my beauty course and it says
In pregnancy it is advisable not to use essential oils in the first five months. Care must be taken to use only the safest oils in the latter stages.
I have heard of therapists using essential massage oils though before the 5 month mark. Generally the rule is as long as it is in a carrier oil, you dont use too much, for too long or too frequently, it should be ok.
However in saying that there are a few no no oils in pregnancy.
Also- if this helps- mandarin or tangerine essential oils used in a vaporizer can help to eliminate nausea.
And I'm just reading on, there's an essential oil named Melissa (apparently) that's supposed to be a remedy for morning sickness?!? Whoa!!! It's apparently a French traditional remedy!
I have this book handy still I can scan and email the pages if you like?!? hope it helped xox
