Smells... too many to count! Here are some of the more memorable ones... I can't remember how far along I was bout I know all of these happened after our 18-20 week scan.

DP cooked eggs for dinner cause that is what I wanted - all I wanted was a fried egg! He cooked it, put it on my plate - I had to drop and run because... it smelled like cooked egg... well der!

DP wanted bacon and egg rolls for dinner so I gladly set about starting the bacon and he would cook the eggs because of the above point... seems bacon fell into the same category. It turned my stomach something fierce!

I have also smelt really strong perfume when no one else could.

DPs deoderant - I was sure we had bought a dodgy can - there was nothing pleasant about the scent to me.

Car freshner in DPs car - mine is devine (but he HATES it) - his smells so so so so so gross

Um, there are more - will come back and post as I remember!

    OK...here are mine.

    Bread...yes bread
WATER! Tap water to be exact. Idon't know what it was, but showers were hard. I only drank bottled water.
Ash tray's/smoke. I could smell the second DH lit one up from one end of the house to the other...

They were the major 3. There were more, but those really stood out for me.

Cigarette smoke I can't stand but wonder if that's just because I'm not a smoker anymore? There is a girl who works at the real estate near us who smokes in the toilets, if I go in there after her I get sick & headachy

When I was PG with DD I couldn't stand the smell of eggs cooking, or BBQ chicken... I was working in a supermarket & people would come through the checkout with them

For me it has been lamb....have been unable to eat lamb, and have really hated cooking it, smells like wet wool and the taste..just *shudder*...crumbed lamb cutlets are fine (which is good cause I absolutely love them!) but lamb chops- no way! Going a bit that way with pork too...smell is ok, it just tastes funny to me.

Smell of milk... even though it is fresh and well within dates - it always smells weird to me at the moment. I am very lucky that DP is around and can smell it to tell me it is all to do with my sense of smell at the moment!

Bacon and eggs are a big one for me. I almost posted a thread about it this morning . . . great minds DH can't cook bacon and eggs EVER at the moment but this morning he came up with the great idea of poaching an egg because he thought that would be better. He had to come home and bath DD at lunch time because she had rubbed poached egg all through her hair and was making me gag everytime I went near her . . . poor DD.

Raw chicken, raw red meat, anything dead in the garden (not our garden but in parks and stuff, I can smell a dead rat or whatever from miles away ), the smell of other people's babies' nappies (wet ones as well as dirty ones) - thankfully I can just tolerate my own baby's nappy, my kids when they had a cold (until I was pg, I didn't know that you can smell snot)

I could go on but you get the idea

tk - I so hear yo uon the milk thing! I am like that with milk even when I'm not pregnant! Always smells off to me even when it's fresh!

Cigarette Smoke - Blurgh!! I'll never go back to smoking ever... Can't STAND it!! One of our smoker friends came over the other night and I had to go get DH's spray for him or we couldn't have both stayed in the loungeroom without me gagging - YUK! Thank God DH hates it too - He's never had a ciggy in his life, i don't think I'd cope too well now if he was a smoker!

My big one is... Sizzler. Oh yuk. My SIL is a manager at Sizzler and we used to go there every week, when I was about 7 weeks pregnant we went and OMG I'll never go back. Dh had these disgusting Asian Marinated Ribs or something and I tried so hard to be tolerant but nope, we left after about 5 mins of me sitting there with my hand over my nose and mouth and my sick bag on my lap - Now, even the thought of the smell of Sizzler makes me sick - I even feel a bit gaggy when the Sizzler ad comes on tv! YUK!

In the first trimester, I couldn't stand the smell of anything cooking, mostly in the frypan, like onion etc - Ooooooo and meat, yuk, couldn't stand the smell of meat, cooked or not! I'm alot better now though and am back to cooking our meals myself - Which I missed so much! I love cooking!

I'm sure there will be more intolerances to come.. I'm only halfway through so far!!

With DS1 - This certain air freshner. To this day I still can't handle it either, yet I was fine with it before pg. Cigarette smoke too.

DS2 - My own perfume, and mainly really sweet perfumes. I'd have to hide my gagging and stuff when I'd walk down the street. For a while there in the middle of the pg mostly I couldn't handle the smell of meat cooking and this certain pan I couldn't handle the smell of anything cooked in it.

AliciaMrsH, I was reading this thread thinking "gee, I'm lucky...I don't think there's anything in particular" and then I saw your post and it reminded me of how ill I feel whenever we walk past Subway!!! Can't stand the smell.

Oh, and I was on Lite'n'easy in the months leading up to falling pregnant, and kept eating the last few frozen meals in the first trimester when morning sickness then set in. Now I can't even watch the ads without feeling nauseous.
