Unfortunately I think its just the way it is with having a Bub in the public health system. I was induced at 40wks+12 days(after they did the internal at 41 weeks they then booked the induction appt for the following week) and then when Bub was born the midwife said "oh maybe your dates were wrong she is still covered in vernix"(apparently when they are late they are more"dried out")
I hope your little one decides to come out soon(without being poked or prodded or induced!) you cant blame them though all nice and warm in Mum's belly.
