Thanks kim. Sorry, completely forgot to come back and offer my 2c. Should be in the thread but basically, thete's no evidence any official body approves them. I sold ours. I kept thinking if i was in an accident, my legs could break and i wouldnt be able to unhook the thing from below my belly in order to get out. Also, i doubt anything could prevent damage to bub in a high impact accident anyway. Even with the tummy shield, there could be a uterine rupture. You cant control for every situation, sadly.
It's better to have the lower part of the seatbelt go across your hips, under your belly. Dont rest it on your belly.
