When the time comes, I think I'll do what someone I know in the US did. The first time she gave her son peanut butter she did it in the car park for the ER at the hospital. She figured if something went wrong, she was in the right place!

We did something similar, but not on purpose. Emily had an allergic reaction one day at daycare, and we took her to the dr. We weren't sure at that point what she'd eaten, and he wanted to test peanut butter, so we bought some, and while at the dr's we tried it. And no reaction
