    Oohh, forgot the clefting, sorry!!!!!

    Couldn't see anything obvious, but he did remind me how early it is. But he also hinted that if it was a large clefting, (like Kanes), full lip, palate and up into the nose, he might of seen something already..... so quietly hopeful!!!!!!!

    Clefting..... sometimes heritary, but often not.

    Is also associated with many syndromes too, like Pierre Robin Sequence or Down's. We have no family hisory of it, and have many children, so Kane was probably just a once off.
    At 6-8 weeks, bubbas facial bones come together, (they are in two parts, down the middle), and in some cases, they dont join up correctly, leaving a cleft in the face. It can be just in the lip, palate and gum line. Kane had all 3, known as a Complete
    Unilateral Cleft (one sided).

    They say taking extra Folate can help, so I takle 5mg not .5 mg in each pregnancy.
