Thanks Liviam I would be really interested in any info you can find

Thanks Junglemum Wanted to get an idea as DH will be leaving work to come along and I wanted him to have an idea how long it may take.

I am having the internal cervix lengths done due to a possible Incompetent Cerivix, due to DD very quick arrival, and minimal pain to get to 7-8cm. In addition when I was losing Flickers twin it was only 2.2cm, so I have been having regular scans on it every 2 weeks to check for shortening, in case I need a Cervical Suture, my OB does most of them, but when ever I have gone to the high risk clinic she also gets them to do one too. I never had a check done with DD. But i have heard of others getting them at the NT or Morp scans.

    Thanks so much for replying

Jungleman gave you a great answer - can't really add anything to it. The length of the scan depends on how co-operative Flicker is feeling. Best of luck. Fingers crossed yor cervix is nice and long and Flicker is growing beautifully. Are you finding out the gender?

Hi hun, our sonologist did the doppler stuff at each growth scan...........I would say it only takes a tiny little bit longer, it's pretty quick really, from memory (we weren't doing fetal doppler )

Good luck, I hope it all goes well. Will be following your progress!

Thanks, I hope so too, we will find out but keeping it a secret, which is what we did with DD

Thanks Janie, ah yes it looks as though we have plenty of growth scans ahead of us and dopplers, but if it means we can keep Flicker inside for as long as possible then we will do it
