Thank you girls for your thoughts on this it has helped a lot, especially you BG, you`ve given me some hope.

I have been disappointed with this GP a few times now so I`ll be looking for another one and getting another BT done, it`s just all driving me nutty!!!!!

DH seems to think the urine tests are more accurate in early pregnancy then a BT, I`m not too sure about that???? Anyway he tells me to not think too much about what the GP said.

a BT is always more accurate - provided it's a quantitative as it will confirm low numbers - it's not always a good sign (as you yourself have seen with the chemical pregnancy last month), but it's possible that low numbers will grow...

    good luck

My GP rang me last night at 11.10pm to say he was just looking at my 2nd report that came in and I`m infact pregnant.

Now I don`t understand why there are 2 reports and obviously the first one said no and 2nd said yes, very weird or did he make a mistake and had to rectify it in a hurry.

So I didn`t bother wasting another HPT this morning, so yay yes I am UTD. What a drama!!!!!!

BG - That`s what I thought that a BT was more accurate.
