    Question Very sore breasts

So am just over 8 weeks and my breasts are still very sore. At night when I take my bra off the are so sore!!

Could this simply be because I haven't got any new refitted bras? I am still wearing my usual underwire ones. I know I need new ones but $$ at the moment (with school starting back soon) is very tight.

Yep, I'm getting the same thing. Have been for about a month now. My boobs have gone up a whole cup size (not fun when they were already a 12E). I can't wear any underwire, and they are so full and sore that if I accidentially bump them I'm almost in tears. Me thinks you're going to have to try and budget for some maternity bras soon.

The bra thing will help, but I think that it's part and parcel of pg a bit too - I'm 28 weeks, and still tender, although not as bad as it was in 1st trimester.

Congrats on your pg too - hope it's a H&H one for you.

Jodi, I am the same size and think they are just too big to fit into my bra now, which is tough cause ++ size mat bras are $60!!

Yeah I am thinking my bra is just not flexible enough.

Might go and find a sports bra or something to make do until I can get a couple of proper mat bras.

ETA: Thanks BG... this is the sorest my BB's have EVER been with ANY of my pregnancies... that's why I am a little perplexed.

I was going to suggest buying some crop tops/sports ones just to get you through until you have the money for these pricey maternity bras.

    COngratulations Tanya

The boob thing I reckon is just a pregnancy related thing but buying a good supportive non underwire bra could help - certainly won't do any harm.

    Best of luck hun

Tanya around 8 weeks mine were the same. They kind of exploded but after another 1.5 weeks calmed down a heap in size & soreness. Have you thought of going to an Op shop to get some cheap bras that may give you some temporary relief from what you have now? I got fitted @ 8 weeks (up 3 sizes!) but am now only 2 sizes up, so this bra didn't have much use.
