    Vitex takers, a question...

Did any of you who took vitex to O earlier have much success??

I started it this cycle to try and raise my progesterone levels after ovulation....but here I am on CD19 and still no egg!!

It could be the m/c last month that has screwed my cycle a little...or it could be the vitex.

Perhaps I should stop taking the vitex until I ovulate.

    Any suggestions please?

    Hi Chrissy,

Vitex, like any herb, can sometimes take 2-3 months to fully get into your system and start working its magic.
I used it for a couple of months but for a different reason to you. I was getting really heavy AF and vitex seemed to settle it down a bit.

i would give it a couple of cycles to get in there and start working first and then see how you go. I have heard a lot of success stories from Vitex for the exact same reason that you are taking it so dont give up. Hang in there im sure it will work for you.

Also, the liquid form is supposed to work quicker than the tablets too!!

Good luck Chrissy and let me know how you go!!!

Thanks, decided to stick with it...the m/c could be the reason for late Ovulation....plus I am interested in seeing if the spotting in my LP ceases when on vitex.
