Morning all - I thought I would post up a warning to you all.
The other day I grabbed a bottle of Thorpedo water. I am not usually a fan of sports waters but I really needed something and was sick of water and didnt want coke or anything too sugary.
As I am taking my swigs, I start reading about the water additives. In tiny fine print on the back it says that the water was unsuitable for children under 15 and pregnant women.
Now this shocked me, what on earth do they add to water that makes it unsuitable for both women and children? Children adore Ian and would pruchase this drink on the basis that he produces it (I looked on his website and it says that he doesnt just lend his name to the company, he owns shares in the manufacturer and was involved in the process of developing it). Apart from the children factor, if it is so unsuitable for pregnant women the warning should be widely known but nothing is mentioned on the water's own website.
So take care ladies as I was really stunned at this. We hear warnings about Listeria and deli foods but never water!!
