We Are Having A Very Cheeky Baby.......

GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yay!!! yay!!! yay!!!
i knew it all along!!! everyone else was predicting a boy!!!! but i kept telling them no no it will be a girl!!
even the chinese prediction chart predicted a girl and so did the ring on the hair test!! how awesome!!!!

I had my 20 week morph scan on Tuesday last week.
I was in there for 2 hours!!!
Bubs was being soooo cheeky and kept moving around everytime the lady was trying to measure her. Even when she was trying to count her fingers she kept sticking her thumbs up at us :smt016
Eventually she turned on her tummy and absolutely would not roll over!
Oh she was wriggling around heaps and moving around alot but just not into the right positions for the doc to look at her.. hehe jus like her daddy!
VERY STUBBORN!

So i was told to go drink heaps of water and fill my bladder up. After about half an hour i felt like i was going to burst!!!!
Finally i was back on the chair and yayyyyyyyyy bubs had also turned back over...... but this time.... SHE HAD HER LEGS BENT RIGHT UP TOUCHING HER HEAD!!!! haha my my my what am i in for????? :-k
after much proding and poking she still would not change position!
Lucky the doc had taken all the measurements and checked all that needed to be done... except we still didnt know if our lil bubs was a he or she!. Finally she managed to part her lil legs so the doc could have a quick glimpse and her words are stuck in my head forever!!!

"I certainly cannot see any sign of a penis!"

My mum grabbed my hubbys shoulders and shrieked with happiness!
We were all smiles!!! Hubby had wanted a boy all along but by the huge smile on his face I knew he was soooo proud! We are having a beautiful healthy little baby girl and thats all that matters! \

We were given some beautiful 3d shots of our little princess and a dvd of the whole ultrasound. There is a fantastic facial profile shot too!!!

Hubby and I are both so excited!!! We didnt waste anytime! We went out and shopped our butts off! We have all the nursery furniture and sooo much pink things!!! Of course im keeping the receipts.... JUST INCASE!
haha

I am now more aware of her movements and cannot miss her tiny kicks!
She seems to time her kicks perfectly for when my bladder is full too!!

Congratulations ambz! How exciting that your having a girl.I was pleased as punch when my first was a girl.I too have so many pink thinks from her that when the next one i find out if its a boy i will have to sell them all!
