you can get them done at southbank. just ask your gp cause you need a referral anyway. i cant remember the exact name of the place where i went but if you need me to look for it i can find it.

On the sunshine coast you can go to X-ray and Imaging, at Caloundra or Coolum. They bulk bill all ultrasounds (including the 3D and 4D ultrasounds) to all patients entitled to Medicare cover who have an eligible doctor's referral.

    So+Gi at Southbank
Qld Ultrasound for Women on Wickham Tce.

Both do the 20 week morphology scan which includes 3D images and video. Both very good apparently, I have used Qld U/s for all of my pregnancies and found them to be excellent but have heard good things about the other one as well

I went to Frank Carmody at Sunnybank - their machines have 4D imaging & we got to spend a bit of time at the start of our morphology scan just lookin at bub moving about in the 4D real time imaging... then the normal black & white morphology scan took place.

Cost us $250 - you need to be referred by obstetrician or GP & you do get quite a lot of the cost back through Medicare.

Sassy123: The one at Loganholme is also a non-diagnostic scan. It's purely for family & friends to gather around & watch their bub on the big screen. You can find out the sex of your bub if you choose to as well. You [B]PAY[B] quite a lot for this privilege... they have a website with costs etc.

I had 4D scans done at Qld Xray - linked to the Mater Hosp. in the Gabba... This is just where my GP had referred me to for my 12 and 19wk scans. Can't remember the price, but I know I got most of it back through medicare. Its pretty amazing - I'd recommend you follow it up.
