I loved my bellies, but then I always had BIG ones LOL so there wasn't any mistaking they were there, but as for pretty belly's, I think only my 2nd one was 'pretty' - it was nice and round whereas my other three all got a bit pointy, more of an egg shape.
Now if you were asking if we liked the look of our backsides during pg, then that would have been a definate NO! ROFL.
I love my belly - even though it has a distinctive right sided bump It is not the same as the *pretty* round ones that are out there but it is mine and it is still beautiful. Now in a few days (hopefully) ask me about my post baby belly and the answer will be COMPLETELY different
Selina, I was pg at the same time as my best friend (we were due 2 days apart) and she had very similar feelings to you. She had quite a small belly and also was fantastically healthy the whole way through her pregnancy. I, on the other hand vomited every single day and got quiet a big belly - although I am small framed so anything would be big on me! I never really enjoyed being pregnant until near the end (when I just loved it because i wasn't sick anymore!) and was so jealous of her for being well. She was actually jealous of ME because she didn't really feel pregnant without the classic belly and morning sickness etc. Anyway that little rambling story was my attempt at saying you are not alone in the way you feel. Just enjoy your bump (however big or little) and dream of the fantastic little baby thats warm and comfy inside there!
Oh hon...I bet your belly is a beautiful as the sun in the morning!
Give it a week or two and you'll probably ballon right out and think what the hell you were worrying about.....and babe...I had a double bump with my last 2...all thanks to nasty c/s so in my case NO I hated my bellies
My bump is already getting in the way. Clothed it looks fine, but I can not wear a bikini. I also have to wear long tops. My stretch marks go from my hoohaa to 1 hand width below my BBs and all the way around. The only place I am willing to put photos of my belly are on here, and most of them are only ticker size so as not to horrify everyone!! Speaking of which, it is time to update my ticker pic!!
Thanks for all your replies and sweet words. I'm hoping I get the 'classic' pg belly look over the next month, but I know ultimately it won't matter. When I'm holding my little bub in my arms, my pg belly will be the last thing on my mind.
