    What does dropping feel like?

Just wondering if anyone can tell me what it felt like when your baby dropped? I have been having a heavy feeling all day in my stomach and it is a little bit uncomfortable. I am 34 weeks.

Everybody says I 'dropped' a few weeks ago.. but to me.. the pain in my ribs went away and there was more period like pain. But no sudden changes.

    What does dropping feel like?

Like I had a bowling ball inbetween my legs, dd2 engaged early. Dd1 never did she was breach from early on and stayed there. This time bubs keeps on moving dropping in the morning then turning in the evening.

The feeling I get is like I have a head in between my legs and the baby will fall out! That's the way I feel when the baby drops. And I don't get heartburn.

Pretty much that....I went to bed one day big and relatively comfy with where she was, woke up the next day and felt like if I squeezed my thighs together I would suffocate her!

Then when she went again at about 39 weeks I felt like I would fall over and started to waddle...like a duck, DH used to laugh at me lol

My belly went from a bowling ball to an egg, I started dropping 4 weeks before DD was born, and I found a got a lot of relief and could breath easier as there was less pressure on my lungs
