I think high/soft/closed depends on how your cervix is generally once you've already had a baby. Mine has NEVER been as high as it was before DD since i had her. I reckon the same goes for openness - mine is as open as it was pre-DD during ovulation all the time now. At ovulation it is positively gaping! (yeah, even more TMI!) As for CM, i would say a lot of CM is very normal during pregnancy.
If you have no cramps and no bleeding i would think you have no worries. I have to admit that i didn't touch my cervix during my last pregnancy for fear of hurting the pregnancy (having had 2 losses already). Maybe next time around i will be more bold
Thanks, I feel much better now! I also read just then that in early preg it's like 'an overripe plum' which I thought was quite an accurate observation! I wasn't deliberately checking my cervix though, I stumpled across it on the loo ROFL
Mine is perpetually high. Even in full blown labour you need to be about 6ft tall to have enough reach. I can't reach it and I am 5'7".
So other than not knowing the condition of mine - like ever... its just to let you know that all our cervicies are inherantly different so without any other symptoms I would try not to stress it.
